Dynamic and fun Downtown showroom seeks Stock Clerk for immediate start. Under the supervision of store management, the stock clerk receives, unpacks and stocks merchandise in the stockroom to provide availability of merchandise to customer. We are an Internationally established luxury home and textile brand looking for a Porter/Stock Clerk/Inventory Controller to unpack inventory, organize and manage office supplies and help with showroom managementResponsibilities include:
Receives incoming merchandise from truck; assists with unloading of truck. Counts and sorts items to verify receipt of merchandise on requisition/invoices.
Examines merchandise for defects and/or breakage.
Unpacks, stores, transfers, retrieves and wraps merchandise.
Re-stocks Stores merchandise on shelves according to style, size and type.
Retrieves merchandise from stockroom to replenish floor displays; assembles items as necessary.
Prepares merchandise for transfer to branch stores or returns to warehouse.
Assists in repairing damaged merchandise and assists customers with carry out of purchased merchandise if necessary.
Act as driver as needed for short notice warehouse or airport runs
Job Requirements:
Team Player
Professional and courteous attitude towards customers and coworkers. .
High school graduate or equivalent.
Candidates must be available to work weekends this is a must.
Must be able to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
General loading/unloading
Candidate must:
Have the ability to learn quickly in a fact paced environment
Speak English
Have Legal Working Papers and Verifiable Working References
Drivers License
Salary starts at $9 - 10 per hour.
